State law mandates that UNC-CH only have at most 18% of its undergraduate class be from out-of-state. The school states that the class of 2026’s admit rate was 16.8%; the school has yet to release its class of 2027 admit rate. https://admissionslawsuit.unc.edu/about/admissions/

UNC-CH has yet to release its 2022-2023 CDS, so I’ve used their 2021-2022 one instead for the link and for transfer statistics. https://oira.unc.edu/reports/reports-archives/common-data-set/

UNC-CH classifies itself as a semester school on its CDS, but has a month-long “maymester” after the end of the spring semester; this is characteristic of 4-4-1 schools, which I believe warrants the 4-4-1 label.
